Your 不良研究所 academic advisor will be by your side even before classes start, showing you how to tailor your education to match your own goals and interests.

Curry’s academic advisors are there to help you:

Create your schedule. You’ll meet your advisor before registering for classes every semester. If you’re undecided, they can help you choose a major; they’re also available to answer questions you might have about required courses, graduation requirements and other details.

Participate in your education. We want you to dive into your classes—and that means getting to know your learning style, goals and areas for improvement. Together, we’ll develop strategies and find resources to make you a lifelong learner.

Get involved! There’s a lot more to Curry than going to class. We’ll encourage you to participate in extracurricular activities and work closely with your faculty advisor, who can be a valuable mentor.

First-Year Academic Advising Timeline

Your 不良研究所 advisor will be one of the first people you talk to on campus. Once you tell us that you plan to enroll at Curry, we’ll be in touch to register you for some classes before Summer Orientation.

You’ll have the opportunity to schedule a meeting with an advisor, during the registration period prior to Orientation, to get support with registering for your first-semester courses. At the start of the semester, you will be assigned an advisor to meet with regularly throughout your time at Curry to support your academic journey.

You might ask your academic advisor:

• Which courses do I need to take to graduate?
• Are there electives that line up with my academic goals?
• What can I do to manage my time better?
• How can I change my major?
• What kinds of paths can I follow with my major?
